Come enjoy a stay at our cozy 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in the Shanty Creek Resort community in Northern Michigan. Our first floor condo with no stairs offers wide doors and halls along with beautiful views of the Shanty Creek running right through the backyard.

Fun for all seasons! In the summer splash in the outdoor pool, play a game of tennis or relax by the firepit right outside the condo. Enjoy the sandy beaches and volleyball court at the private Beach Club on beautiful Lake Bellaire which is just a mile away. Boat, fish and kayak the Chain of Lakes which includes Torch Lake, voted third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic.

In the warm seasons you can golf at any of the 5 golf courses located right within the resort.

In the winter you can enjoy downhill skiing, tubing and Nordic Trails cross country skiing at Shuss Mountain and Shanty Creek.

All seasons you can get out into nature and hike at Glacial Hills Trails, Cedar River Natural Area or Grass River Natural Area which are all less than 6 miles away. Then you can relax and have a craft beer at popular Short's Brewing Company only 4 miles away. Eat at the many restaurants and shop at the local gift shops in downtown Bellaire.

8/10 overall beautiful location, loved the creek. Great house, awesome place all around. Minus deep cleaning looks like it hasn't been done, just surface cleaning. I went to open the couch to sleep on the pull out couch, bloody napkin etc looks like hasn't been sanitized in a long time. I would definitely recommend staying here, but maybe a new cleaning crew. Also bedroom door never locked properly the whole weekend. Only opened once and never locked afterwards. Thank you 8/10

Property was off the road and quiet. Obviously well maintained and in a convenient location for our trips to torch River marina, Alden, and Bellaire. Apartment had everything needed for a nice stay, except soap and shampoo in the bathroom and shower. While we always carry our own, other guests might not. Washer/dryer and fireplace and jacuzzi were luxury touches enhancing our trip

Not clean, not healthy

The place had an overall musty smell. Secondary bedroom mattress was broken down and the couple staying with us could not sleep on it. Called Brian about the bedroom and he said he would come out but never did. I called several times after and left messages but no response to phone messages. We had the place for two weeks and could not relax and enjoy our lengthy stay. We all agree that we would never stay here again nor can we recommend it to others.

Peaceful!

We love it in Bellaire and since Covid, it's been hard to find accommodations. We loved the location and the scenery. Close to town but yet had the country feeling. One item to note is that the hot water in the master bath sink was not working.

Relaxing and quiet area

My husband and I spent 4 days at this property, it was exactly as pictured, very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the creek behind the condo was a plus. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
