The room was an older building dated and smelled like Hilex, it would have been nice to have a room that didn't smell so like humidity so we kept all of our stuff in a suitcase so I didn't smell up

Hotel is clean, they have a great breakfast and have two pool. Gowever i had booked 2 queen rooms and necause they had overbooked we got stuck in 2 rooms with full size heds. That should have been stated to us without me walking back up to the office.

Service and cleaning terrible

I didn’t think when I said yes I’d like house keeping I’d come back to my bed not made and sink not clean. I also was very upset the remote didn’t work properly and I had called and all I’d get was a recording saying we are closed for the night. What kind of accommodations are those? I’m sure glad the toilet wasn’t broke and I’d have tried to reach the front desk. Would never stay here again.

I paid $170 for a room at a not full hotel. They gave me a handicap room with no view even though there were many open rooms. The shower was not good. A hand held unit that probably cost $5 as it was so small and made of rubber. Very disappointed. Much better choices in this area.

Loved this hotel! Right on the lake with a private Ricky beach area. I felt like I was at a little resort. Beautiful pool, hot tub and fire pit that they did s’mores at each night at 8 pm. We were in the Michigan building which looked like an older part of the hotel but still nice and very reasonably priced. Plus it’s closest to the water. The ferries to Mackinac Island are a block away and they will shuttle you for free or you can easily walk. Tons of shopping and dining in the area with a very beautiful view of the lake.
