Terrible, smelled like they tried to cover up the smell of mold with a whole bottle of perfume. The staff was rude and told us to start our own bonfire. The pool and hot tub are in a separate building from the rooms. It’s October in Michigan that’s a huge no thank you. We left and had to find another room on the fly. I bought the insurance cause site unseen of course and now I feel like it’s gonna be a hassle to get my money back. I will be calling my credit card company and having the charge removed as we could not stay and the staff didn’t care at all.

The guests above us sound like storm troopers stoping up a down the room all night keep is awake for two nights. We had a family emergency and had to leave prior to our check out by 1 day for a funeral. Hotels.com and the hotel both gave us lip service only acting like they would try to refund us the night but both did nothing to help us. The breakfast is disappointing at best and the pool was out of order our whole stay.

The owner was quite friendly and we loved the fir pit. However the room was not very clean, the bathtub needed new caulk and had mold The wall had something on it, I'm afraid to think what. I would not recommend this hotel.

Our first room was horrible. Very disgusting and filthy and dark. They switched us to a new room with 2 queens and a baloney. Chairs on baloney were broke, but was happy for the light into the room. Had a larger frig which was nice and brought us a microwave. However tons of hair under the sink. Noise was horrible. You could hear your neighbors on each side with every foot step, but we just turned on the fan to drown it out. Breakfast was average quality, not enough room for people to sit. Poor seating design. Very cheap towels, but was ok. Cable was hard to figure out. Best thing was the ice machine. Will not stay here again.

Needs some basic upgrading, however the jacuzzi room was very nice, Jamaican lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The only real negative review I have is housekeeping staff, she knocked on our door at 10 AM even though checkout isn’t until 11 AM and we had the do not disturb sign hanging on the door.
