Thanks for your feedback, an we apologized for any inconvenience the hotel under new owners and doing the best to remodel the hotel and give proper training to our staff.

The advertised pool was green with algae. The A/C unit was as loud as a plane revving up it's engine every few minutes, no sleep till 4am.

I'm a frequent traveler. Excellent value. My room and the facilities overall were as nice as others costing 30-40% more. Only complaint is the ice machine broke the day I stayed, and that's not significant.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Convenience and staff.
Cons: Hot breakfast needs help. Gravy mix not prepared properly (gritty and way too salty), sausage needed more cooking. Waffles and other items were fine
Staff went out of their way to be pleasant and accommodating.

Not a 3 star............

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Poor breakfast
My room smelled awful, the bathroom was dirty. Toilet seat need to be replaced. Old carpet. Looked beat up. Breakfast was so, so. I would not stay here again. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

while on the way to Galveston...

Staid a week and a weekend. Outgoing staff, very friendly. Desk clerk Scott really goes out of the way and really knows the area. Outstanding breakfast too! My stay was more like staying at a home rather than a hotel, don't know quite how they do it but they do it very well and at a great rate.
