Conveniently located for the congress centre and gaslamp quarter. The rooms are very tired looking. I was also charged $40/day for an access pass that I only noticed on reviewing the emailed bill after leaving. I have no idea what this was for. I also noticed that i was entitled to 2 beverages/day, I only knew when reviewing the app to try to discover what the extra charge was for.

Very nice place to stay! Very friendly staff! Very clean and easy check in and check out process. Parking is 65$ vallet only at the hotel. But a parking garage about a half a block (3 min walk) is only 15$ overnight parking! I will definitely stay there again when I come back to San Diego!

It was a nice experience for an overnight stay. Staff was friendly. Check in and check out was easy. Parking was a bit pricey but there’s a parking structure across the street.

Not hot water due to rain?

The hotel was fine, staff was as courteous and professional as I'd expect. The biggest issue was a lack of hot water. The first morning we noticed it, we called the front desk and shortly later someone from engineering came up, ran the sink and the shower for some 4-5 minutes (on top of the nearly 10 minutes we had run both of them). We then had hot water in the sink and warm-ish water in the shower. He told us that if we wanted hotter water in the shower he would need about 30 minutes to disassemble the valve and allow it to get hotter, and also that the reason for the issue at all was because it rained the night prior. I'm not a plumber, but it seems odd for that to be a problem in San Diego. The next morning we had the same issue but did not bother calling the front desk again. We discussed it when we checked out and they kindly comped our 2 days of valet, but it is still a very annoying problem to have at all. There were much cheaper options immediately nearby that I would have gambled on having hot water.

What I didn’t like was we didn’t get the room we had picked. The room was severely dusty like they had never cleaned it. It looked like we got the handicap room. I was no pleased with the view or the room.
