Charming Cottage for two on a 300 acre ranch/farm in Bastrop, Texas. Settled next to a 2 acre pond w/ canoe & fishing, 10 min. from downtown w/ award winning dining/shopping, 2 miles from Colorado River & 30 miles from ATX. Enjoy quiet serenity of country life or join in family lunch at noon on week days. We still do things the old fashioned way around here.

A perfect Getaway for couples
This place was AMAZING and the online pictures do not do this place justice. Mrs.Amanda and her family were very sweet to us. Even when we had a small hiccup, they got on it immediately, and even gifted a card to us to show their concern was genuine. I would more than happily stay here again. Thank you, Mrs.Amanda for being an amazing host with great communication.

Wonderful little place. Great sunrises and sunsets. Very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Great for 1-2 people. Would highly recommend. May want to book through VRBO directly.

Perfect Romantic Getaway
Wow! This cute little cottage was such a perfect place to getaway from the chaotic busyness of life, yet it was minutes away from the conveniences of the city. The sunsets were beautiful, the bead-board, the furnishings, the decor, and even the reading material and movie selections made our stay extra-special. We will definitely return.
