I liked the hotel and the facilities it had and I would probably stay here again but it was quite far away from the beach. There was no direct transport to the beach from the hotel and on a couple of occasions I didn’t want my room cleaned or to be disturbed, but they still came in. Without my permission.

I had a lovely stay. Its just slightly further from the city but I had a metro pass so was super easy to navigate. Two metro stops close by. But the sights are super walkable also - I just preferred the metro after a long day. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were super nice.

Stayed for 2 nights. Able to check in slightly earlier which made life easier for us after a very early flight from the UK. Very comfortable double room, just a shame that it was 2 single beds pushed together and not a king size bed. Roof terrace was quite messy when we went up there around 2pm and the rooftop bar was closed so no one to ask for towels etc. Well located for metro, Westfield and local coffee shops.

We booked a comfort room and were initially very pleased with its spaciousness and being on the top floor. However, when we returned from dinner, it was clear the A/C was not working properly; it was extremely hot and would not cool down. We spoke to the desk; they confirmed an issue and claimed they didn't have a single other comfort room available that night. They switched us to a much smaller and frankly very cramped standard room on a lower floor looking into an apartment block where at least the A/C worked. This was hugely disappointing. The next morning, they said they still didn't have any comfort rooms available but would refund us the price difference between the two room types. I asked for something additional like breakfast the next, final morning, and the manager (I think her name was Marlena) graciously agreed to that and was definitely apologetic. With this exception, our stay was nice. I was surprised by the location of the hotel in a quiet, more modern residential/commercial/artsy district a bit north of central Barcelona. But I got used to it and liked the 20-minute walk to the beach. My husband thought it was unsafe (I think he equates graffiti with unsafe), but by that measure all of Barcelona is unsafe. I especially loved the rooftop terrace, bar, pool, and jacuzzi with amazing 360-degree views in all directions (though didn't like the 2-euro towel fee, which seemed unnecessary). Breakfast was great. I admire the hotel's sustainability initiatives.
