I stayed at Sagrada Familia Barcelona and was given a room where the air conditioning did not work. The evening receptionist confirmed the issue but said the hotel was fully booked and could not move me that night. His only suggestion was to open the windows, which left the room uncomfortably hot. The next morning, I was moved to a room with working air conditioning. However, when I spoke with the daytime desk manager, she explained that no refund as it is non refundable, or goodwill gesture could be offered. Not even a small courtesy was extended to acknowledge the inconvenience. I reported the matter to Expedia and received partial compensation, but the hotel itself refused to take responsibility. Charging guests for a room that does not meet basic standards of comfort is unacceptable. Sagrada Familia Barcelona failed to deliver a minimum level of service and declined to recognize the impact on my stay. I am not seeking apologies—I am seeking fairness.

Few suggestions: please change the pillows to larger thicker ones, please include a comforter and have more staff during breakfast hours. Las habitaciones son demasiado pequeñas y muy incómodas, pedí que me cambiaran porque literal si abría mi maleta en el pico espacio que quedaba no tenía espacio para caminar. Además es la primera vez que en mis reservaciones me dicen que la habitación era solo para una persona, generalmente es habitación doble y tuve que pagar extra, así que cuidado al reservar porque ya tu tarifa se va muy alta.
