Great place for peaceful summer vacation - the apartment is very well maintained with beautiful garden and views! The hosts were lovely and friendly, respectful and very responsive! The village and surroundings, as well, added to the atmosphere. I highly recommend to everyone who is looking for the perfect Tuscany holiday!

Explore the Chianti Region

We had a fabulous time in this friendly small town. The villa was clean comfortable had lots of space inside and out. We enjoyed looking over the Tuscany hills from the hot tub. Thank you for being great hosts Cristina and Andrea!

We knew that there was a restaurant close by but we didn’t realize how much it would add to our stay! Hard to find parking after dark. Please get there right at check in time. The villa was very comfortable and helped make our visit to Tuscany very pleasant. The hosts were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations on food and site seeing spots

Beautiful home away from home

This is the perfect place to stay and use as your home base while in Tuscany. The home is well appointed and comfortable for 6-8 people. Andrea and Cristina were the perfect hosts. They provided a book with great tips and and ideas of places to visit. We rented a car for getting to/from Florence. While there is parking in the square, you have to be lucky to get a space! There is parking behind the villa, it is tight and very steep to get back on the road. It is not a deal breaker and we would be delighted to stay here the next time we visit.

Perfect spot

Lovely property in the hills with stunning views of the valley below. We had everything we needed to enjoy a family reunion and celebrate my father birthday. The location is quiet down a narrow track through beautiful vineyards. A short walk down the hill we found a vineyard and olive producer that provided the perfect spot to hold our birthday lunch following a tour and wine/ olive oil tasting!!!

Our 4 day stay at the Chianti Villa

It was a very comfortable stay and a lovely location. The host in particular was exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us and was extremely prompt with restaurant suggestions and things to see and do. The lack of air conditioning in the two rooms can be worked upon. I understand that it’s not possible to put aircons in the two rooms in the basement but should be provided with good coolers

The Perfect Villa

This beautiful home is well taken care of, very spacious, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Centrally located in Tuscany, we were able to visit the Chianti region, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pisa, Siena, Florence, Venice and more. The villa was a welcome retreat at the end of each day. Lovely gathering areas are found inside and out and includes modern kitchen and baths. The hosts are lovely and the recommendation made to visit the nearby Tavarnelle for fabulous dinners at Il Caratello and Il Caffe degli Amici were much appreciated. Our hosts sharing their lovely home helped us create cherished family memories. We highly recommend Villa Chianti!

Family Tuscany vacation

Beautiful old townhouse with lots of space inside and out. Works well for a family with one room on the main level, 2 rooms downstairs and the 4th in a separate entrance off the garden area. 4th room probably best for in laws or older kids (we did not end up using during our stay). The hosts are very kind and helpful. The town is cute but not much to do there. The one main bakery happened to be closed the time we were there. There is one other that is just a very small bakery across the street(no espresso machine there). It is close to many other places by car which is convenient. The back patio with hot tub is great. Be careful searching for the place with the car navigation system as it takes you down the street to the wrong door. The parking in the back is great but is quite steep down the street.

Misleading listing - 2 apartments, not a single property

Overall disappointing experience/misleading description Negatives: 1. The property is actually 2 separate apartment units, rather than 1 single 2-story home. The first unit has 3 bedrooms, while the second unit is one master bedroom. I.e. this is NOT a contiguous 4-bedroom unit as is being advertised. You can only move from the main unit to the master bedroom unit by either going outside and entering through patio or through the main lobby. Obviously not convenient for most families, particularly with small children. In effect you are booking 2 non connected apartment units. 2. The parking is dangerous. The space is located behind the unit in a muddy/grassy area. To access it, one must go down a very steep (30 degree incline) driveway. In the rain, its extremely dangerous. The main courtyard in the front of the unit has parking spots but they are completely full by the evening, so you will have to park in the back area on most occasions. 3. The wifi is terrible. It only works on the main floor. It does not work on the lower floor or in the 2nd, disconnected master bedroom. 4. The rental is not well maintained. The photos of the jacuzzi/patio seem to have been taken years ago. The condition of the patio is very worn down. The unit is moldy with fake plastic flowers throughout the unit collecting dust. 5. The washer dryer is inaccessible in a small closet. Positives: 1. easy check-in process 2. The location is terrific to explore Tuscany

Super expérience!

Aucun point négatif! L’accueil, le moyen de communication avec les hôtes, les photos et la description de la villa sont identiques à la propriété. Nous allons visiter la Toscane et les vignobles, là villas étaient très bien centre à plus ou moins 30-45 minutes des villages. Un super séjour, nous le recommandons!

Excellent accueil de l'équipe de Sidrak et des propriétaires. cette maison est grande, très grande, et confortable, complètement conforme aux photos vu sur le site. Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique et reposant, au milieu des oliviers, dans un endroit isolé, mais relativement proche de tout (tout dans un rayon de 6-7 kms). Bonne base pour visiter la Toscane, où l'on apprécie le soir les couchers de soleil, la quiétude n'étant troublée que par le bruit des criquets.

A great location from which to explore Tuscany!

A great location from which to explore Tuscany! We stayed 3 weeks in Villa Chianti in a small village. It is a lovely, large home. It is beautifully decorated and has a nice garden with a hot tub and a view of the Tuscan countryside. Andrea was welcoming and responsive to any issues we raised. Although as mentioned in other reviews, the layout is unique, it worked for our family. It is not a stand-alone house, it is part of a multi-unit townhouse in a village. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and serving meals, but has little counter space. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Parking can be tricky: the private spot is down a steep gravel hill that is difficult to navigate, and parking in the town square is often full, we often had to park down the hill behind the church and walk back up. These things are more notable for those staying a long time. Overall, we loved our stay in Chianti, especially the hot tub and foccaccia from the bakery!

il ne reste plus qu'a vous d'en profiter pleinement.

Nous avons passer un excellent séjour dans la villa d'Andrea et de Cristina. La villa est très propre, très grande et idéalement située dans la Toscane. Tout est tel que décrit par l'hôte et le village dans lequel est situé la maison est tout aussi dépaysant. Il y a a deux pas de la maison une trattoria qui ne paye pas de mine mais les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et vous accueilleront avec plaisir. Pour finir le voisinage est très calme et la vue incroyable, il ne reste plus qu'a vous d'en profiter pleinement.

Die Wohnung war genau so wie beschrieben. PerfekteLage zwischen Florenz und Siena. Unbedingt das Restaurant vis a vis ausprobieren war top. Cristina und ihr Mann waren sehr sehr Nett und kümmerten sich super um uns.
