The space:

It's an unhurried fusion of a fully furnished kitchen, dining space, and snug lounge, all brought to life by the glow of a comforting hearth. Nestled neatly off the kitchen, you'll discover a well-appointed bathroom, complete with a private toilet, a nod to both convenience and discretion.
As you ascend the staircase, you'll be greeted by two lavish bedrooms, each boasting a king-sized bed and a ceiling that pitches towards the sky, crafting a sense of openness. Find tucked away in one bedroom a quaint reading nook, a sanctuary for you to delve into the pages of your chosen novel.

Getting here:
Transport in is either by water taxi, hire boat, hire tinny, ferry (one ferry on weekdays which arrives 11am) or own boat.
For guests with their own boat (max 6 metres) please reach out for directions to our jetty & where to tie up.

Kangaroo Point public wharf
Deerubbun Reserve boat ramp and public jetty
Hawkesbury Water Taxi Service can be arranged from Kangaroo Point or Deerubbun as per a regular taxi service & drop you to our jetty.
Luxury Afloat at Kangaroo Point can arrange small boat or tinny hire.
The ferry leaves Brooklyn at 10am sharp Monday - Friday & will drop off at Bar Point public wharf which is about 10mins walk along the reserve to the house. Ferry also stops at Kangaroo Point at 10.25am for pick up. Arrives Bar Point 11am.
Guest access:
You have full use of the house, except a storage room/study.
You have access to both bedrooms, bathroom, open plan living space, kitchen, huge deck, utility room.
Other things to note:
This delightful dwelling trusts in the bounty of nature, drawing its water supply directly from the heavens. Each droplet of rain is captured, purified, and delivered to your tap - a testament to the purity of nature, ready to be savoured straight from the faucet.
Electricity, while harnessed from the grid, is delivered unobtrusively, ensuring your stay is accompanied by the comforting hum of modern conveniences.
We kindly extend a reminder that this is not a venue for raucous celebration; it's a sanctuary for tranquillity. We ask that you honour the serenity of our neighbours and maintain an ambiance of mutual respect.
Take a stroll along the nature reserve at the water's edge, or explore the fire trail with breathtaking views, up to the convict built, spring fed dam.
