The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Great value stay

The condo was clean, update and comfortable and cozy. It was my wife and I, but the condo easily could have fit a second couple as there is a second bedroom with a full bath. The gas fireplace was great and the unit had a nice view of Grandfather mountain from the balcony. You get a lot for the price. The management company is fantastically organized and responsive. Great job! The only negatives (and there were just a few) is the unit is advertised as having a king-sized bed in both bedrooms. The master definitely has a king (and it is incredibly comfortable), but the bed in the second bedroom is smaller….either a smaller king or a queen-sized bed. The split HVAC system in the living room was not working. It did blow cold air, but for just a few minutes and did not blow heat. I think the HVAC guys were working on it the morning we left. It was no big deal because the gas fireplace creates more than enough heat.
