They had fresh made cookies at check in nice! Breakfast had a good variety of food. There was a gas station a pizza place and a Safeway right next to it which was a plus.

Hello Anonymous, Our Fresh Baked Cookies come out every day at 4pm. Rated one of our guests' favorite Amenities, who doesn't love a warm chocolate chip cookie after traveling. Pegasus coffee, snacks and other beverages are complimentary and available 24/7 to welcome you. And, for those Specialty Coffee Lovers, just across the street you can get your Starbucks fix.

Dog friendly is great! Comfy bed AND pillows! Clean...passed the “black light test!” Only complaint... thin ceiling/floor... could hear almost everything from the room above...especially the stomping & running around (child?!?)

Overall this was a fine establishment. Everything would have had a high rating if not for a snag with our room keys. They did not work. When I went back down to the front desk to let him know, we were told that it was because the battery in the door lock was faulty, and unfortunately the maintenance person didn’t work on Sunday so it couldn’t be fixed. I asked if we could have another room and he said yes, but it would take 15 to 20 minutes to process. The other option was to take the emergency key up, open the door then bring the key down immediately. It sounds petty, but when one arrives to lodging after a long day, running a key up and down or waiting around for another room is NOT what you want to do. The front desk person was very polite and came up to unlock the door the first time. The only other complaint I have is that they use a very strong air freshener when they clean and it would have bothered anyone with a sensitivity to strong fragrances. Freshly baked cookies were a bit of a consolation in bringing the key back down. We could pick a couple up every time!

Greetings Anonymous, Fresh Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies in the evenings.. What could be better. I am sorry to read about the key issue. This is very unusual as our Maintenance Engineer replaces batteries on a regular schedule to avoid exactly this situation. I apologize for the inconvenience--we know after a day of travel, the main thing you want is a quick check in, clean room, and a comfy bed.

Bainbridge Island

Pros: The location
Cons: I should have been given the suite.
The last time I stayed at the Best Western Plus on Bainbridge Island, I had a beautiful suite with a separate bedroom & living room with a door that could be closed between the two rooms. it was very large. I thought I was getting the same type of suite this time and was extremely disappointed to discover that I had been given a single handicapped bedroom, with no separate living room. I called the desk and was told this was their last room. The handicapped shower was very difficult to use and flooded the bathroom. When I booked a room, there was no mention that it was a handicapped room. There was also a dog in a room near by that barked a lot.

Nice hotel for a couple nights stay...

Pros: Rooms were clean and hotel staff was courteous. Close to downtown shops and restaurants.
Nice hotel. Close to Winslow way which has most shops and restaurants. Also, has grocery stores, gas station, coffee shops next to it. Rooms were clean and hotel staff was courteous.

Dream vacation

The staff at front desk to the generous breakfast to efficient friendly housekeeping were superb professionals! It made for a relaxing & comfortable stay. They even provided some great dinner suggestions. I wouldnt stay anywhere else. They have a beautiful facility, conveniently located & well tended! Great job!!

Redeemed my opinion of Best Western

First off, I didnt find out this hotel was 10 years old until we checked out and the clerk told me. I thought it was brand new. The hotel is sparkling from the private parking garage to the elevator to the lobby and rooms. Smells and looks new. Front desk staff was super friendly and informative of the island. The rooms felt homey and wished we could've stayed longer. Great breakfast in the morning too. Thanks!! If we're ever in Seattle again, we'll make it a point to take the ferry and stay here!
