My bass club has been staying at this property for years because of the parking & power availability for our boats. They used to provide a nice early morning breakfast as well. Now it has became very dirty and run down. My non-smoking room DEFINITELY had been smoked in. When I asked for clean towels, I was told I had to put on "the list" for room service to come. I asked to be added to that list but still did not receive room service. We were told breakfast was shut down except for pancakes with bacon in the middle in saran wrap due to Covid. I think we have passed that part of Covid.

My room was full of ants and the telephone did not work. Property is pretty run down. Clientele was rough.

I reserved a king room and they gave me a queen. Property itself was adequate. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff was friendly. We were on ground floor and it was noisy in the parking lot until 3:00 A.M.

Thank you for your recent stay with us, we apologize that you may have felt that our front desk associate did not show our normal "southern hospitality". I have spoken with our front office supervisor who happen to be at the desk when our friendly front desk associate was checking you in, she did not feel like our front desk associate was "rude" at all. You did contact your booking party and request a refund which was granted and at that point you checked out of the hotel. We wish you safe travels! This property will be closed from September 14 2022 to April 30 2023 for renovations and will resume operation once the renovation is complete (completion date subject to change).
