Room and common areas were clean. Breakfast staff were great. There was a strong odor in the hallway and my room on the 4th floor of old cigarette smoke and something else. I bought plug in air freshener for my room which helped a lot. The mattress was firm and I could feel springs. I think this property needs to be updated from the 1980's. New carpet and mattresses for sure.

Hotel was fine. Room was good size and clean. No half and half for coffee. Only skim milk available. This small thing will make me look elsewhere next time.

Thanks for the comments. We were having issues getting F&B supplies due to a stock issue with both of our vendors while they continue to navigate their way back from COVID. It appears the market was out of portion controlled half and half for about 10 days.

Not comforting

The room looked like there was a bar room brawl. Tears in the lamp shades, hole in the bathroom door that was patched up but done poorly cracks in the bottom of the bathtub.

Convenient location, Clean rooms

I booked this hotel in advance for a recent bass tournament at Clarks Hills Lake. The staff was friendly, very helpful when I had issues with my room key and the hotel room that I stayed in was very clean and had a comfortable king size bed. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, everything you could hope for especially at a good rate. My only complaint would be that the wheelchair accessible room I stayed in was all the way at the back of the hotel, farthest from the main entrance. There was a rear access door however the ramp to it was steep and difficult to navigate if carrying luggage or any other items.

Excellent People

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The staff were helpful and the room was very clean. There are many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance of the hotel.
