Long Bay enjoys direct access to the kilometre-long golden beach and extensive reserve, filled with barbecue sites and picnic tables. For the active person, there is an abundance of recreational activities available, from running, tramping, cycling, diving and snorkeling to boating and kayaking in the Long Bay-Okura Marine Reserve.

Long Bay village is a hub of vibrant cafes, bars, and restaurants, while excellent public transport links connect you to Torbay, Albany, and the city centre, with buses departing every half hour.
