Our brand new Onetangi Beachfront Apartment has an amazing picturesque beachfront location and is perfect for your holiday getaway, with outstanding sea views and excellent facilities all within a minutes stroll from the waters-edge.

The Apartment on the Beach is a comfortably furnished and fresh home located on The Strand in Onetangi.

Complete with 2 bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, an open plan lounge, dining and modern kitchen. The lounge has large bi-fold windows that open up to gorgeous sea views a large flat-screen TV with SKY Sport, Apple TV and complimentary Wifi.

A communal BBQ, lawn area and outdoor shower are all located downstairs for guests to enjoy, and there is a dedicated parking space for one vehicle on site.

Great location clean tidy unit

Very easy to stay in, perfect for two couples with two rooms and two bathrooms. Was a bit hot at nights with no aircon and couldn’t leave windows open due to the odd Mozzie but otherwise very good.

Idyllic

With travel overseas restricted, Waiheke Island was the next best thing. My husband promised me a cruise around the Islands for our 50th anniversary, I got the ferry and Waiheke. Such a pretty Island, plenty to do, Mudbrick estate was amazing. Our accommodation was fantastic, clean, well equipped and right on the beach. A short walk along the road and you have the choice of 3 places to eat. Highly recommended, we will return again for sure

Overpriced and tired

Communication with the property managers was probably the only excellent part of the experience. The accomodation itself was tired and run down showing signs it needs some TLC. The map on how to find the property made no sense so getting there was a bit of a mission in itself. They should highly suggest you bring a car or arrange a hire car as this property is convenient to nothing and taxis are pricey. They should also mention to bring drinking water. Oh and the couch had fleas which resulted in itchy bites all over. View was nice though.

Stunning location and facilities. Hard to improve. Just some housekeeping really... The main shower could do with a thorough clean. I think here are fleas in the carpet. I got savaged, 15 bites or there abouts, on two occasions. I don't think it was mosquitoes, the bites were different and I didn't see or hear any mosquitoes. I also didn't see any fleas, so that's why I say I think the are fleas... I'd put a flea bomb in there though, there's something in there. Both times I got bitten I hadn't been outside for a while and had just walked across the carpet and jumped back into bed. Things like this happen, but you charge a premium. Otherwise.... awesome
