Hotel Showing some wear-n-tear

Overall I would recommend this hotel but just be prepared that this location has hosted many parties and is showing it. We had some technical difficulties with key cards and elevators. With this said; the hotel was clean and the location would make me try it again.

Pros: Very modern decorated nicely
Cons: Valet over priced when public parking next door way cheaper
Location: Nice location
Hotel need so minor repairs....head board and chaiRd need to be re-Upholstered. Towel rack in room was broken. Trash on floor on at check in counter Restaurants/bars are open late...however stop serving food early

front desk host Latoya was rude

Pros: Great view, champagne and strawberry to my room for my birthday. Room was clean, great style, and updated
Cons: Elevator made some noise and really slow, pool needs to be updated add a bar and the front desk host Latoya was rude at check in
Location: Walking distance to bars and Piedmont park
Besides that the hotel was great the pool needs to be updated, and relocated to be more visual add an upscale bar at the pool, and the elevators were very slow and made some noise while it was moving. The location is great and our room was excellent, great view of the city. I would stay at this W again because I had such a fantastic time at the downstairs bar and the strawberries to my room for my birthday was fantastic.

Very Disappointed

Pros: The Bliss bath products and location.
Cons: The rooms, bathrooms and hallway areas need to be renovated and maintained better. This particular hotel did not meet W standards.
Location: Great centralized location; easily accessible from interstate and within walking distance or quick Uber ride to many Atlanta hot-spots.
I've stayed at W Hotels around the US on several different occasions, and expected the Midtown Atlanta location to offer the same upscale, luxe atmosphere and experience that I've enjoyed before. This particular hotel was very disappointing. The valet was a mess (unorganized and absolutely no sense of urgency) both up my arrival and departure. The hallways appeared unkempt with stained carpet and broken light fixtures. And the room was subpar. The headboards, desk chair and love seat were worn, and desperately in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was also unacceptable for what is supposed to be a four-star hotel: In a 10-minute shower, the water drained slowly and rose above my ankles. The toilet also looked worn and made an ungodly sound upon flushing, like something you'd find in a public restroom at a Marta station. All-in-all, I was very much under the impression that this location used to be a Holiday Inn Express or something similar, and Starwood slapped some black paint on it and tried to pass it off as a W.

Get away with hubby

I have stayed here before on s bachelorette weekend and decide to stay there with my husband. We love Vegas n it's like atl's own piece of Vegas without the casinos! Love the vibe... Probably would not take my child there but definitely for the grown n sexy!

Nice hotel BUT...

Pros: Rooms are always cozy. Beautiful hotel.
Cons: Customer service! Maybe the woman who checked me in was just having a bad day. But for the money I paid, she could've at least offered a smile.
Location: Great location near restaurants, etc.
The W is a pleasant stay for the most part. I visited the hotel over the 4th of July weekend and I'm going to assume that the reason it took valet a half hour to get my car is because of the busy holiday rush. Understandable. The valet drivers really do hustle. And they're much more polite than then the desk clerk who checked me in. What was up with her? Bad day? She was extremely quick and impersonal. I could barely hear her and had to ask the woman several times to repeat herself. AND I asked for a room away from the elevators. Of course, she gives me a room RIGHT next to them. Not cool.

All was well

The only problem I had was when I came back for the night I called and requested some towels because I turned in my other towels before we left for dinner.I called at 10:17th and no one brought me ant towels.I had to call again the next morning and they immediately brought me more towels.

Great location but rooms are showing wear.

Pros: Great location and fitness center. Staff was very friendly. Food served at the wedding reception was very good.
Cons: Rooms need some updating.
Location: Fantastic dining in walking distance. Piedmont Park is just down the street.
Stayed at the W for a friend's wedding. Hotel did a great job with the event. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was awesome for dining and nightlife. The rooms are a bit on the worn side, but comfortable, none the less. The fitness center was the best I've seen in a hotel. Nice to have a Bliss spa on site too. Products in the room are all Bliss.

Dirty and dark appearance with constant noise both from the guest in the lobby and the music on the elevators.
