"Wonderful experience"
I visited the city of Atlanta for the first tine last week. I was there for 5 days. I stayed in Downtown Atlanta at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. I arrived early at the hotel around 6:30 am. Check in wasnt until 4:00 pm. When I arrived, i encountered a very professional and polite young man at the check in counter byvthe name of David. I told him I had reservations there and that My flight arrived early. He immediately told me not to worry and that he would take care of me. He assured me that he,would get a nice room for me. I hung out for awhile in the lobby until he located a room for me. It wasn't long before David informed me that he had the perfect room for me, wirh a view over looking the city. I was very happy with the room. He also gave me a complimentary breakfastat for the wait time. DAVID IS TO COMMENDED FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. Also, Kudos to the housekeeping crew, they was great,, every morning, they were making their rounds, ensuring that the rooms were cleaned Also, none of my personal items were touched. The hotel staff were professional, and very willing to answer questions and to provide assistance to their guests. Next time, Im in Atlanta, I will definitely stay at the Marriott Marquis. Even during the construction, my experience was pleasant. Newly remodeled rooms are awesome. Maybe if anything could be better, its the $35 overnight park charge for guest staying in the hotel. Registered guest should park free.
