Ok Stay

There was no lock to bar entry on the door. The bathtub would not hold water. It was a small bathroom. The beds was comfortable at least. The carpeting must have been brand new because it smelled new. There were other signs of things that needed to be fixed to numerous to list. The request for the bar to be fixed on the door was ignored and we had to put a chair infront of the door to block entry at night. Yes, I have had someone in the past try to get into my hotel room, so I am very concerned.

Worst vacation & stay ever!! The only parking is Valet, so be prepared to walk to & from the parking decks which charge $25 per day. There is absolutely NO convenience to this hotel/area. The lady near check-in scammed me out of $60 so do not fall for free tickets to the zoo. Our car got broken into in the parking deck, coincidentally the day we parked there it was no security. No microwave in the room. Room service was beating on our door at 8:30AM asking what time we were leaving. Door Dash & deliveries are not aloud to the room. The Fandangles restaurant inside is very overpriced & not welcoming. Definitely will never stay here again!

Not Handicapped Friendly

I pulled in and asked the valet if there was handicapped parking. He said we only Valet; but you can self park. Is there a handicapped spot in the parking garage? “I don’t know”. Okay I’ll valet. He said go park over there and I’ll be right with you. He pointed at the fountain out front…over 150ft from the entrance. So I had To hobble on my cane carrying my wallet and attaché case trying not to fall. Got the front desk…I told the girl that I was handicapped. Got key card and headed to the elevator. Got off…passed the bar. Found the hallway where the rooms were…it had to be 40 rooms long. It was all very frustrating. I won’t go on…but in the end I had to pay $50 for parking because I’m handicapped and they wore me out walking. JD in the bar was fantastic…he was buried in patrons; but still took good care of me. There was some kind of convention going on…the mushroom Swiss burger was great!

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool amenities were great. I also appreciated the vouchers the hotel provided that could be used towards their breakfast buffet, their convenience coffee shop, and or the restaurant. The location was super close to the Peach Street Center, And made it accessible to buy food. Highly recommend this hotel!
