Good unless you have a problem with your stay

Pros: Convenient to downtown attractions; comfortable rooms; good food
Cons: The management
Location: Centennial Olympic Park, the CNN center, the stadium where the Falcons play, MARTA stop about a 5 minute walk away
The hotel is lovely and the staff, for the most part, are friendly and helpful. The food is great. But when the hotel didn't have a room for me, they didn't bother to call me and tell me. I had to find out a 2 am after dealing with flight delays. I was put up in another hotel at no cost to me. But the hotel did not contact Travelocity to begin to process a room refund; yes, the hotel did not have aroom that had been paid for -- not just held with a credit card. I had to follow up two days later when I returned from a work conference. It's been about a week and despite emailing a complaint, I have yet to hear from management. Frankly, both days should have been comped, but that would be the right thing to do. As long as you don't have any issues, then I recommend this hotel. If you do have issues, you'll probably regret it like me.

Short stay in Atlanta

Pros: The staff was truly outstanding. They all warmly greeted us and made us feel at home. An inviting lobby. I wish I had time for the restaurant.
Location: About 2 miles to GA Tech, but very close to the Atlanta Eye, World of Coca-Cola, the Aquarium, and the beautiful Centennial Park.
This was my first stay at the Glenn as I usually stay closer to Georgia Tech. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff is outstanding. From the valet team to the desk team, everyone went out of their way to be more than professional and courteous - they were so welcoming! Our room was fine, with a comfortable bed. I stayed on a weekend night, so there were some loud revelers from about 1:30-3:00 AM outside. This certainly isn't the hotel's fault, I'm just suggesting you may want a room that doesn't face the parking garage and is on a higher floor, if you're a light sleeper.

Great staff. Disappointing facility.

Pros: The staff. Clearly the hotels best asset. They are great!!!
Cons: Combine some of the rooms to create decent sized ones. Remodel the interior upstairs to brighten it all up some.
Location: There are nicer hotels at lower prices to access all the great stuff nearby. CNN, various museums and parks, etc. etc.
The staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. Stayed two nights. Room was cramped with inadequate space. The halls were Portland-esque (which would be good but didn't pull it off successfully) dark and dreary; worn and tired despite the thoughtful concepts. Does not qualify as a boutique hotel in our experience, nor justify the rates. The "rooftop" bar would be fine on a nicer facility, but isn't special enough to make up for the dark halls and small rooms.

Friendly staff in a small, welcoming atmosphere.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, friendly staff, good security
Everything was fine except for the room cleaning after my first night ...service in that regards was substandard!

Would recommend the Glenn Hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Best bed ever, it was so dreamy, we overslept each day. Room was very chic and in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to Aquarium and to the Underground to catch the Braves bus to a game. Would recommend the Glenn Hotel to my friends. Only bad thing was the CNN board flashed all night, but they had very good window black-out covers to hold out the light.

The staff sets this hotel apart

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Stayed at the Glenn 4/18-4/21. It's in a great location. The resturant is very good and has good bar in the lobby too. The rooftop lounge was great. The staff was very attentive and the most friendly I've dealt with in a long time. We had a problem with street noise our first night and they they gladly moved us to an upper floor. This hotel certainly enhanced our trip to ATL and hope to go back soon.

The best beds!! Around the corner to CNN Center!

Pros: great location, great bed shower
Cons: smaller rooms
I stayed at the Glenn to attend a concert @Philips Arena. This was the best spot as far as distance. The concert was literally around the corner! The hotel is modern/earthly, and cozy. The room was deocorated simply, but comfortable. The beds were the best part, and the shower was amazing. The only downside was the room (queen) was a little small. Perfect for a couple weekend!
