READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK! I highly suggest you read all if this before deciding whether to book. Below is our experience. On arrival, we discovered the elevators were broken. This required us to climb 7 floors with our luggage. The building is dirty, so we had to watch where we stepped and many of the floors had no lighting (or windows), so we needed the light on our phone to navigate. I reached out to the host about the elevator. They replied that they would look into it. They never did. The unit was in fair (at best) condition. There is mold growing on the walls. The sheets and blankets are stained. There is only one shower and drain does not work, so when we took a shower, it flooded the bathroom. There is a drain on the bathroom floor, so we built a small dam with towels to direct the water. On day 3 the water went out completely. We reached out to the host about it who suggested we wait and see. We eventually gave up, brushed our teeth using a water bottle and left to explore the city. Luckily the water was back on that evening. The elevators never became operable, so climbing 7 flights of stairs after a long day of hiking is...not fun. So, what's the good? The view is great, and the location is good. That was the main reason we booked it. Here's the kicker. When we returned, I planned on doing the review. I discovered that the host cancelled the reservation. This prevents one from leaving a review. Neat Trick! I had to file a complaint to write this
