Despite it being a bit off the grid and housekeeping a bit off! I had a wonderful stay! It’s actually situated in an up and coming area, close to Central- by 10-15 min walk! Staff super friendly…( especially Karen who works the 11-7 shift!) and helpful! They immediately addressed my issues! 😊

There are two bad things about the hotel. Location and size of the room. But when you think it is price especially for Amsterdam we were fine. The only annoying thing in the room is it was a bit transparent shower area and can be seen from the bed. Of course not clearly but if you have a child with you you can not move easily. You should put a rack for towels close to shower.

Overall a really neat hotel with great outdoor relaxing area. Rooms were a bit tight and plugs could be closer to the bed (like the upper bunk) and perhaps a kettle in the room. Overall though I’d recommend.

Once you got off the ferry, the walk to the hotel was fairly straight forward. Check in was easy. They ordered the taxi back to the airport for you as well, which was convenient and useful

Easy to reach, quiet area but at the same time close enough to the ferry to reach the central station. There is a parking where i could leave the car. The guys working there are absolutely amazing and very friendly! Very nice room and comfy. Lovely breakfast wish a good choice. I would recommend it for sure!

YOTEL is located minutes from the center of Amsterdam in an upcoming area with new cafe's shops, lots of restaurants. There is a complimentary ferry to North Amsterdam which is a novelty. Area is quiet, safe. We always stay at YOTEL.

Wouldn’t Stay Again

Inconvenient location, couldn’t charge my car because I didn’t have the correct type of card (which other hotels often provide), the server was grumpy during breakfast. Cool bed set-up in the triple room but lack of privacy in the bathroom and shower and water leaked out into the room. Friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Quality could be better at breakfast.

The location is not so adequate to walk to City Center. It is doable, however. We came by car and the parking facility was under construction and closed. This was not communicated before arrival. The answer to the question where to park the car then, was a short ‘go and find a parkingspace outside’. Not very helpful. However, All ends well, the daily public parking fee was much lower then the daily fee for private hotel parking.

The sheets were smelly like they hadn’t been washed. The top bunk had sweet wrappers tucked down the side of the bed. Staff were lovely hotel was nice just the room cleanliness was terrible I wouldn’t go back again
