I the view from the Movenpick. This was my fourth time to stay there.I loved being on a high floor and be able to see the view of the water canals.

If you are taking a cruise, this hotel is right next to the cruise terminal.. Beautiful hotel, staff was very helpful in providing maps and suggestions for touring Amsterdam in the 2 days that we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Worse experience with a hotel ever. Waited in line for 30 minutes for not to be told no room available (even though it was prepaid months in advance) Also informed by hotel that if I had booked direct I could be treated the same. Cruise ships block book & hotel oversells. We were given taxi vouchers by the hotel. The other hotel would not accept the taxi company voucher “ because we do not have a contract with this taxi company.” We arrived at ally for our vacation & this ruin d the start of our vacation. Would not recommend Travelocity since they should have known this before selling the booking. I guess the adage buyer beware is the bottom line.

Hotel close to cruise terminal

Cons: Room cleanness
Room was filthy! You could write your name in dust on the window sill. The mattress was sunk in like sleeping in a hole
