Our stay was wonderful!!! The hotel is perfectly located in Dam Square. Right in the city center. Accessible to everything! We arrived quite early in the day and Jelle (pronounced yell-ah) did a wonderful job of checking us in. Our room was not ready yet but he went above and beyond and made sure to take great care of us! Letting us know where the local store was to get necessities that we could not bring in our carry on luggage. It was wonderful not to pay the expensive cost of water once we strolled the short distance to the local store. The room was extremely comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly! Room was nice and dark when it was sleeping time. Extremely happy with our booking! Thank you Swissotel for making our stay in Amsterdam wonderful!!!

Very convenient location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops and to the Amsterdam Central train station and boat tours. Nice facilities. Very good services. One drawback is that part of the mattress tends to slip off the bed. My husband almost fell out of bed when he got up in the morning.
