Excellent and very convenient location. My single room was cosy with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly large bathroom with shower. Lots of hot water, good heat if I needed it (December visit) and an excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better stay in central Amsterdam...especially at the price!

Convenient location near transportation and restaurants. An easy 5 minute walk to the train, metro and trams (use your credit card to tap on and off). Lots of restaurants on the main road leading from the train station. Our room was average size for a budget European hotel, but very functional , we didn’t feel like we were tripping over each other. The bed was the most comfortable we had in our one month stay in Europe. We had a hair dryer, kettle, tea and instant coffee in the room, though the free coffee machine was available day and night in the breakfast room. Breakfast was a small self serve with Crossants, toast, cereal, fruit, cheese and ham slices. I wish there were eggs, but other than that it was a good breakfast. Plenty of seating. The staff were pleasant and helpful. You can store your luggage if necessary before or after check in. The only negatives were that you will hear street noise (stopped around 10 pm), and the arm chair in our room needs the armrest repaired. I would stay there again.

The hotel is old style, but it's clean and comfortable. The staff was great and it's right across the street from the train station. The city is accessible on foot from the hotel.

Everything we needed was within minutes walk. Restaurants, trams, buses mainline train. The parking at Oosterdok was the best value in the area. Loved the train theme particularly as a lot of it was of the Indian railway on whivh my father wss a senior engineer in the 1950s. The staff were super friendly.

I can’t say enough good things about this property. We had a bit of a traveling nightmare and we were met with kindness and warmth. The owner expedited our room for early check in so we could rest while still salvaging part of the day. The location is perfect for ease of access to centraal station, while staying walkable to many other neighborhoods of interest. Despite proximity to the station, the hotel was incredibly quiet. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

I think I've found my new hotel to stay in Amsterdam. 5 minutes walk from Centraal Station (it's visible from the Station). The decor is train themed - looks brilliant. They have an elevator! It's a small hotel, in the A section it looks like there are 4 rooms per floor and there are 4 floors. So, if like me you have accessibility issues - this is great. Breakfast, whilst basic, was good and taken in the train-themed room. The beds are super comfortable. The shower has so much pressure! Really good. The staff were all friendly and really efficient - good to talk with. Awesome!
