The hotel is being remodeled so our room had some issues but it was nice and spacious. The AC did not work, there were stains in the bathroom sink, the TV in the bedroom didn't work with either remote & we had issues with our room keys. The breakfast was a good start but no selection of juice or foods. Was strictly scrambled eggs, toast and sausage patties.

After driving over 1,000 km that day on our way back home, we stopped at Studio 6 Amarillo – West Medical Center, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist behind the counter was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, even taking the time to share a few suggestions on what to see in town, even though we only had a couple of hours to explore. Fresh coffee was ready in the lobby when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch after a long day on the road. Our room was huge, spotless, and cozy, with a full-size fridge, a mini kitchen (sink, toaster, and cooking counter), and even a coffee machine. Whoever designed this place really thought things through - even the blue-painted ceilings make the large room feel warm and inviting. The shower was excellent - strong water pressure and perfectly hot if you like it that way. After a day of driving, it was so social to be able to take a swim especially since we are in October! Breakfast was hot, served and included, and overall, the property felt comfortable, safe, and relaxed. This place is in a great location, offers fantastic value for money, and gives you everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest or if you want to stay an entire week - or even for an event s they have a huge atrium that can host a reception or an event of at least 100 people.

The air conditioner in the bedroom face of the suite was not working correctly. I let the front desk know and maintenance was supposed to come but never showed. I had a 13 month old so I had to put the playpen under the fan in the sitting area. Since the baby had to sleep in the sitting area, I had to sleep on the couch as well since the bedroom was so hot. I let them know, but they said since I booked through a third-party, there was nothing they could do. The swimming pool seemed to be nice, but it was freezing cold so we could not even get in. The hot tub was not even full of water that had no water in it.

BLACK MOLD. Ceiling caved in on my belongings due to a water leak that evidently had been there for a while. Told the staff and was told they would give me $50 off my next night. Moved to another room and the room next to it had a leak and all belongings on the floor were wet. Asked for owner contact info and was refused.

This was only an overnight stay. But, it was way better than I expected, especially with the low cost. Room was clean, roomy and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be my go to stop to and from Colorado.

It’s extremely humid due to all the air conditioners putting out hot air in the same area that the pool is in. The pool has blue dye that stains clothes. The hot tub said available on the website but when we got there it was drained and looked filthy. The gym also couldn’t be used and is in a very awkward place. They didn’t show pictures of the bathrooms probably because they are tiny. The shower curtains are a thin material that is not waterproof so water gets everywhere. To top it all of the elevators weren’t working and when I asked the staff they told me they haven’t worked in months.

You get what you pay for

Pool heater was broken, was broken for months they did not tell me this when i called before our trip. I swim a lot and that ruined my trip as i do not like ice cold water. The room was comfy but smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Holes and damage to the doors and floor, breakfast was just blah.
