The unit was extremely spacious, and very clean. It had a lovely, large balcony with space for dining, lounging, drying clothes, etc. There were plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. The house was very comfortable and felt private. The only privacy issue was the kitchen window which you could see the neighbors quite clearly, and they could see you. The pool and pools deck area was very nice, and had enough loungers to accommodate everyone. It was a quiet development with decent security and a parking garage. But parking on the road was easier. It was not really walking distance to much, however. The streets are steep in this area. It was good for a walk in the morning but not for going for groceries, to the beach or to dinners. We had a car which made it much easier. The area itself has a mix of upscale homes and apartments, abandoned buildings, and averages homes and apartment buildings. It's very busy overall. It was a good mid-point in the Algarve to visit other cities or areas.
