There is not enough space allotted to describe how incredible this property is! Magical? Quinisenntial Europe? Amazing? You pick! Large group of 11 guests, and there was plenty of outdoor space, and the bedrooms were very private, each with its own bathroom. The outdoor courtyard was the most beautiful space to gather with family for breakfast, and lounging by the pool was divine (and peaceful as you are serenaded by birds). Walking along the estate through olive, pomegranate, grapefruit, fig, and lemon groves is indescribable. The experience is further enhanced by the on-site caretaker, Monica. What a lovely person! (Her baked goods and breakfast are chef's kiss---and her scrambled eggs (extra fee) were delicious. This place should not be missed! Excellent location in Portimao- great central spot for all our daily outings- we had a rental car and were within 20 minutes of most destinations- Lagos, Portimao, Ferragudo, Alvor, lots of beaches, great restaurants, and shopping! I hope I get to visit again! Obregado!
