Comfortable newly built log cabin in the middle of the forest, built for quality of life and community.

In the woods, in the noise of the creek that winds and breaks into the mossy field, like a path of purging water, ForRest is a cottage for recovery and rest, social fellowship and joy. Bring the person or people who mean most of all in your life and experience the Swedish forest, calm and silence. The bright nights of the summer show an active and visible wildlife and the winter darkness gives a calm that is hard to find elsewhere.
It's a creative place in the middle of the forest, all to yourself. You and your company have access to the whole cottage and the outdoors outside. The only thing that is heard is the noise from the river and the birds of the forest. It is you, your company and what you focus on. You are free to walk, pick mushrooms, berries and experience the surroundings entirely to yourself. Just sitting by yourself next to the river gives a wonderful relaxation.
ForRest is located approximately 3.5 hours northwest of Stockholm.
The space
The accommodation is unique in its kind, as the house is newly built and is in the middle of the forest without access to the mains. Modern technology has been used to create an accommodation where you will not miss anything.
Power is enough to live very comfortably and basically at home, but the consumption needs to be taken as the capacity of the batteries is limited.
The water comes from the groundwater deep into the ground and the electricity comes from the sun's rays.
For allergy reasons, no animals are allowed indoors.
I work daily in Alfta which is about 14 km away but is always available on the phone. My ambition is to find and help just as much as you wish during your stay.
Other to note
Here you can enjoy your company without feeling that they are more interested in their phones than you because we are far enough out of the woods to have quite poor internet access. The road to the house is a path in the woods, small and a little messy but full enough for a normal car to drive. In the kitchen you have everything you need, but because the stove with the oven is used for heating the cabin, it may get a little hot to heat it on hot days. This means that there is no useful oven in the summertime.
If you come in June the whole night is light. The trees and the fields are bright green and nature is full of life again after a long winter. In July and August the nights get a little darker, the green is deeper and it is usually hot weather. In July, August and September, the forest is full of mushrooms and berries as you are free to pick as much as you want. The leaves fall off the trees in October and the snow usually comes around November / December. In winter you have the opportunity to see the northern lights and to cozy in the wintertime with candlelight and good food. January and February are excellent for winter sports and ice fishing.
In the sleeping loft there are two bedrooms with two beds in each room.
