It what I expected when I read reviews for hotels in the area.. Drunk people urinating against the wall of the hotel outside by the pool at 11pm, Not one staff worker or front desk worker wearing masks, in fact the lady at the front desk told me “were supposed to wear masks I think, but I don’t like them”.. toilet had dried urine around the rim, pubic hair in the shower, disgusting. Won’t be staying here on my trip back through

Pros: Nice
Cons: The carpet was ugly.
Location: Was not there long .

Terrible experience

I had a 2 night stay and chose this hotel because it is new, knowingly clean, and had a restaurant and bar. I am in Abilene often for business and thought it would be a good hotel close to my job. It was indeed very nice and clean, however you can hear everything that goes on down the halls, all around you, and above you. If you need to sleep during the day, this definitely is not the place for you. Secondly, I went to the restaurant for breakfast my first morning, the service was terrible. It took a very long time to get my order, I brought my own yeti coffee cup, the coffee was terrible and I was really turned off. I ended up forgetting my coffee cup on my table, probably because he coffee was so terrible I did t even think to grab it. I had been down there about an hour waiting for an egg! Mind you the waitress knew my room number for my charge and failed to offer any hospitality by returning my cup. When I went back later that day to retrieve my cup, I was told it has gone missing. I really can't believe a hotel would have such terrible customer service, to the point of something essentially being stolen and no offer or apology by the front desk staff to make it right. I will never recommend or be staying there again. There are many other options in the city and I would highly recommend you seek out the others.
