We stayed here on a very busy couple of days for the D.C. area. The city was celebrating the victory of the Capitals winning the Stanley Cup. The Cambria hotel staff did not miss a beat as they welcomed us to the hotel and immediately made us feel at home making sure we had enough towels and even getting some ice for us. I witnessed the general manager stop and pick up a small piece of debris and this action was consistent with the rest of the staff’s attention to detail. The property is only a short cab ride from all of the national mall attractions while still CO located with several convenient restaurants and even a large grocery store directly across the street. We enjoyed parking in the same building at a very competitive rate. Overall a great property.

I expected this hotel to be nicer. It did not have a mini fridge nor was there a vent in the restroom. I was charged a service fee of over $20 for each night. The hotel is also right next to a fire department so you will hear sirens throughout the night.
It was a great experience! we went backpacking to Washington DC for a weekend and this hotel was so close to everything. The mall was really close and the Pentagon. Access to rent the bikes right next to it. And on top of all the service was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the Chef came to the table and was very nice. I really recommend this hotel, specially if you are going to visit Washington DC.
Despite the fact that the hotel is under going a renovation project, this hotel was very clean, friendly and quiet. The only disruption we felt was the lack of a nice breakfast due to a lack of kitchen during the remodeling process. The location, close to Dupont Circle in the beautiful Embassy Row neighborhood, was very convenient to the Metro and bus service as well as restaurants. The door attendants were always helpful if you needed a taxi at any time. I will definitely stay there again.
