Flying Tips & Tricks How do I find my flight number?
  • When you've finalized your booking, have a look in your inbox for your itinerary. Your flight number is recorded in this document. You won't have too many problems identifying it — just keep your eye out for a code containing letters and numbers. The first one to two letters and single digit are called an IATA airline code and indicate the airline you're traveling with. Following this are a few other figures which make up your flight number.
How early can you check bags for a flight?
  • Check-in and luggage drop times can differ between airlines. But if you're taking an international flight, aim to arrive at the airport three hours before departure. Flying domestically? You're usually able to hand your bags over at least two hours before takeoff. Take note — check-in typically closes an hour before departure for international flights and 45 minutes before for domestic ones.
