There was no notice of amenities not in service. I went to this hotel for their spa , sauna and hot tub with mineral pools. The hot tubs sauna and spa out of service. They had things chained off so my husband with a disability could not access the pool safely. I had called and paid for upgrade and they didn’t follow through with the request. They apologized and put me in a suite but it was at the far end of the resort and difficult to walk with my husband. I went for a shower and all the shower shampoos canisters were empty. I have been here before and had a good experience. This was not at all.

Beautiful spa hotel on the ocean.

Disappointing to arrive and discover one hot tub closed and no steam room as spa area closed due to storm damage. Nothing mentioned during booking. Now charging BC residents to park. Still a beautiful hotel but currently (Mar 2025) experiencing some challenges after a wild, windy winter. All to be resolved by summer?

This is my fourth time staying at the hotel. Not happy that the spa was flooded and only one hot tub was operational. If I would’ve known that, I would’ve booked somewhere else. Also, for the first time the Internet access in the room was terrible. We did have it fixed once, but it still didn’t work very well. Not acceptable at these prices

Beautiful views and lovely hotel. Ocean views from our room was a bonus. Restaurants were great. Loved happy hour. Only downside was only 1 hot tub working so it was very crowded on the last day as we approached the weekend also no washrooms close by pool due to previous flood. Robes and slippers are lovely for use to the pool. Big bathrooms with heated floors and very comfortable pillows and beds. Enjoyed our fireplace and coffee. Lobby is beautiful also. We sat there one afternoon in front of the big fire

The beds are so very comfortable. The room we stayed in had an interesting layout with sliding doors to the large bathroom. The hot tub and mineral pools were just divine, situated next to the ocean. The temperature in the larger pool was perfect for a cool winter day. I really enjoyed my stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
