I liked the location, as I needed to be close to the downtown waterfront. The area itself is a little run down, but the hotel itself was clean and well-run. I appreciated the note from housekeeping and the creatively folded towels, along with a little snack assortment given at checkin. I was told about the great discounts at the attached restaurant and surrounding businesses. The downside was the noise. I was in 107, which is right next to the stairwell door. The door slams so hard the room shakes and is quite loud. It started at 4am and didn't stop. I couldn't get back to sleep after that. The bed was also squeaky and you tend to roll into the middle. If you're a solid sleeper, in need of a basic hotel room, it's a great option! Otherwise, ask for a room far away from any door/stairwell.

The staff were incredible and went out of their way to get our requests quickly-they even went somewhere to the other side of the street to get something for us. The beds were also extremely comfortable. The parking was a bit of a hassle and the breakfast that was recommended at the pub next door was horrible so don’t do that. But the Mexican restaurant across the street was amazing. For a short stay it’s okay.

WARNING: CLUB BELOW

They definitely need to inform the guests especially that stay on the 1st floor you are directly above the club that is attached to the hotel. Our first night we could hear the club bass and partying all night. We got moved up a couple of floors the next morning after complaining, while we didn't feel the bass you can still hear the music until 3am. Definitely a great hotel if you plan to be out until 3 when the clubs close but being a family, trying to get to sleep at a decent time is impossible. The AC also did not give a lot of noise to drown out the music that was being heard. The staff was very accommodating and friendly so that was a huge plus and made our stay; other than the no sleep, pleasant.
