There is only one elevator serving the entire building. There is also only one laundry machine and dryer. Other than that everything is great. Staffs are very helpful and friendly

Very convenient

Just a quick overnighter a close to Shinkansen station, would stay again for convenience. Bed was a little harder than used to however that is how Japan beds are. Staff were lovely, included breakfast was great to get us on our way.

This is quite bad experience for me, especially since I was happy with my stay at Toyoko Inn, Osaka Namba. The difference is the staff members cannot communicate in English adequately, though they still tried their best to assist whatever you need. The other thing is that they don't have working wifi in the room, unlike what we had in the Osaka Namba property. They still provide free breakfast, albeit with less choices and in smaller dining area compared to the ones provided in Toyoko Inn, Osaka Namba. Location wise, the hotel is quite close to Shinagawa Station (5 min walk) which is quite handy if you need to travel to Haneda Airport or using Shinkansen to Kyoto / Osaka. We just stayed here on our last days in Tokyo after a week in Kyoto and Osaka. It is in perfect location since we came directly from Kyoto's Shinkansen trip and will go to Haneda soon in next few days. Shinagawa has good dining options though not as much shopping destination compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya.

The room was very spacious, the facilities were very clean, the staff were very helpful and kind. I personally liked the lobby area, although it was more a dining area equipped with kitchen amenities and vending machines. My travel companions expected sofas, but I quite liked and preferred this convenient set up.

Very good! Excellent service and incredibly convenient (less than 5 min walk to Shinagawa Station); the downside to that is you hear the trains pass every few minutes. It didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper ear plugs are a must. Free breakfast was wonderful. Washroom a bit tight but the room had a great layout with space to do hair and makeup (assume that is why the washroom was small). Washroom also got very stuffy very quickly from showering because it was so small. Bed and pillows hard, so it was good for our backs but a bit uncomfortable to lounge on. Only one elevator, thought that would be annoying but there didn't seem to be too many people staying when we were there so we didn't often have to wait.
