Ski trip

This property is beautiful and the house is amazing. We came up for a long weekend to ski at Crystal Mountain (3 adult and 5 kids) and we had the best time. Four feet of snow on the ground!!!! We definitely didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much,The Jones Family

Everything as described

Amenities and property matched photographs. Family enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Accessibility to river is minimal although we were able to fish from shore. The beach in Beulah on Crystal Lake was 10-15 minutes away and Frankfort and Lake Michigan shore was 20 minutes away. Overall this property was great.

Great stay!

The cabin was adorable and so comfy!! Our kids were so excited to see the cabin and LOVED it!! All of the amenities are well thought out. The decor was cute and the cleanliness was wonderful!! Our family enjoyed the outdoor space....fire pit, yard space, path to the river. Thank you for a fun stay!

Wow

So beautiful, so rustic, so spacious, we had plans to do some sightseeing but everyone was very content to stay and chill and enjoy the atmosphere this comfortable house provided both inside and outside. If relaxation is your goal, this is the place.

Roomy Retreat

We had a wonderful time with our family. There was plenty of room and things to enjoy on the property. We found ourselves going to Beulah often for the beach experience but it really wasn’t a long drive there.

Beautiful peaceful cabining the woods

Clean cabin with very comfortable beds and several areas to get time by yourself or gather and enjoy the family. Convenient to Beulah beach, floating down the Platte river or driving to Old Mission peninsula for cherry picking and wineries. Iron Fish distillery was a pleasant surprise just 4 minutes away. Owner was quick to ypest control out after a bat visited during the night!

Wonderful

This home was even better than the pictures. So pretty and spacious with different "nooks and crannies" to retreat to or larger areas to gather together in. The master bedroom had the comfiest king bed and very large bathroom. Outside was fun to explore with the path down to the river. The fire pit was relaxing to sit by at night and fire starters were provided by the host to make lighting a fire much easier. The nights we were there were cool so we didn't have any mosquitos to contend with at all. We also explored the nearby lakes with our pontoon boat. Highly recommend Crystal Lake with it's Bahamian-like waters. Absolutely beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect Family Getaway

My family and I loved spending time at the cabin in the woods. We spent the days hiking, fishing and playing games. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and spending time outside. It was a much needed time away and chance to unplug.

Beautiful log cabin on the river

We stayed for a ski trip with a group of 4 adults and 6 kids. We've stayed here several times and absolutely love it. The property is quite unique, located on the bend of the Betsie River. There is a wood fired sauna in the garage that is an added bonus. There are 2 average sized bedrooms downstairs as well as a large master suite upstairs and one bunk room. 2 TV areas allowed for us to spread out and relax after skiing at Crystal. We prefer to cook our meals when we travel. The kitchen had everything we needed for that. The house is 2 miles from Crystal Mountain and a short 20 minute drive to Frankfurt.

Awesome Riverfront Lodge

We spent two wonderful weeks at Riverbend. The peaceful, scenic setting was very relaxing. We enjoyed watching the river run by, and all the wildlife it attracts. Proximity to Crystal Mountain, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and Lake Michigan made for plenty of recreation possibilities. The house is spacious and well provisioned. The rooms are very comfortable. This was our 2nd stay. We hope to return again next year.

What an amazing place. There were 8 adults and we were super comfortable. We wish we were able to stay longer and utilize the property and its amenities more. Great communication, very accommodating, easy check in/out, beautiful setting. Really, it wants for nothing! Can't wait to go back!!

Great House in the Woods

The property and house are great. Shawn was super helpful and responsive. His home is beautiful and conveniently located within 30-45 min of everything! The sauna was such a nice touch. We loved sitting in there in the mornings or evenings. Nights by the fire were our absolute favorite. The house had just about everything we needed. Only feedback would be to have Kleenex available and maybe a few more kid friendly games or toys. The hot water was OK but could be upgraded as we did have 10 people and ran out daily, but we managed! Overall great place and I would totally stay again!

Beautiful house and property

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The house is well kept and the property is beautiful. There was plenty of room in the yard for the kids to play. The fire pit was wonderful for evening fires. The location was great! We took day trips to Empire, Sleeping bear dunes, Frankfort and Crystal Mountain. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time! We will be back! Thanks for a great experience:)

Family reunion

This was a very easy process, Shawn answered all my questions & concerns, the cabin was absolutely beautiful, everyone had room, games, movies, and the bonfire was the perfect touch for s’mores & scary stories..lol.. we are already planning on making this a tradition to go there once a year to relax and enjoy family time..Thank-you again for making this a memorable weekend!!
