Our room was unclean. Marks in the spa bath despite there being a tag on it to state hygiene cleaned. Marks on the wall. The fridge was uncleaned.
We mentioned it to reception and they advised a VIP clean would be done the next day. Returning back to our room on the second day I would not have called it a VIP clean. The toilet bowl which we were unable to clean due to no brush had not been cleaned and when I lifted the lid I found a lot of very old fasces on the underneath of seat and mold on the inside upper rim. Looked like it had not seen a brush in a while. Fridge still not cleaned. Marks still on the wall. We had two tvs and the remote control in the lounge kept turning the bedroom tv on and changing its channels. Housekeeping did not tidy up ie. fold up and put away blankets or straighten up couch. 2nd day cleaning did not get done till after 2pm and only once we called reception. Once again - kitchen bench not tidied up, blanket not put away and couch not straightened up. Add to that coffee and tea was not refreshed. Signage around the place I feel was not sufficient. Washing machines - website states washing machine takes $1 coins. Reception said 3 $1 coins for washing machine. Found the washing machine was 5 $2 coins. One machine was out of order with a sign. The other machine still half full of water. Add to this we were giving washing detergent from reception the was for front loaders and the machines were both top loaders. All in all a very disappointing stay.
