So close to everything which was great, beds were so comfy. Rooms were clean, bathroom was tiny. Balcony was nice. We had 3 rooms, 2 of which had leaks from the roof. 1 room was so bad they had to be moved rooms twice as the second room move the shower head exploded. Was ok for a few nights, possibly not great for an extened stay. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Close to all transport to and from theme parks etc

Novotel Surfers Paradise was an excellent choice for us as it was close to beach, public transport and the strip which provided many nights entertainment. Even with some parts of the hotel being under construction there was no noise outside of business hours and the staff went above and beyond to provide alternatives if needed. Overall it was a fantastic stay

A great hotel for a weekend getaway

We had a spontaneous weekend getaway with the kids and Novotel was great for what we needed. The location was a real drawcard for us as it’s basically on Cavill Avenue and convenient for food, groceries and activities. On the other hand, we were on the 22nd floor but the music from the club across the street was still fairly audible. It wasn’t loud enough to stop the kids from falling asleep at 9pm though. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa and it was great to find the pool towels already in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the bed rather soft but that’s personal preference. As there were four of us in the room, it would have been good if four sets of cups and spoons were available. The reception staff were helpful overall and kind to my son who was with me at checkout - it really made his day, so thank you! We’ve stayed here before and would happily stay again.

During my recent stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise, I experienced several issues that affected the overall quality of my visit. Reception/Check-in: Upon arrival, the receptionist incorrectly told me that I had not paid for my stay. This was due to her being unable to locate my booking, which created unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. Room Cleanliness: After entering my assigned room, I noticed that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Room Condition: The curtains in the room contained fine holes, which not only looked poor but also allowed excess light into the room. Overall Condition of the Hotel: From my observation, the property as a whole requires refurbishments and upgrading. The current standard does not align with what is expected from a Novotel-branded hotel.

The ease of check-in, our room was available earlier which was excellent as I had my 96 yr old Mother with me! Things were very accessible, room close to the lifts! Had a disabled car sticker & was able to park the car right near the lift! Lovely room with beach view. 17 floors up & it was quiet enough for sleeping! 11.00am check out is excellent Staff all very polite. Would return again, but perhaps a walk in shower would be so much easier!
