Staff were courteous, would be helpful if there was a toilet brush, overall the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Fridge was quite loud when trying to sleep and didn’t seem to be a hand towel, a hook near basin would be good for washing and drying hands. Great location easy walk to restaurants and beach. A central location for everything the Gold Coast has to offer — accessibility is a real winner. The room we were in was huge. It can be a bit noisy at times due to Cavill Avenue directly below, but that’s expected given the location. The staff were attentive and helpful, and all in all, we really enjoyed our weekend stay.

I was not advised that the pool would be closed from 7:00am–4:00pm, which was extremely inconvenient. The air conditioning in the room was very uncomfortable, as guests cannot control the temperature, making the room too hot to sleep. The Chromecast function on the television did not work at all during my stay, despite being advertised as an available amenity.

Finally a hotel with a soft luxurious bed! We stayed in a newly renovated king room and it was fabulous. Most hotels these days have hard mattresses and it’s a nightmare for my hips! I was so relieved when I laid on the bed and it was soft. The buffet breakfast was great too. A lovely weekend all round.
