"Everything about the property is fine. Not sure why reviews are so bad. Front desk staff is horrible. Don't expect anything from them, even kindness. They are undertrained and rude. Five minutes of hospitality training would improve things 100%. I feel for the housekeepers because they told me they dont get tips and they do a good job. Unfortunately the front desk leaves a sour taste and the housekeepers pay the price. Room was clean and in decent shape, beds were fine but the chairs suck. Breakfast looked disgusting so never tried it. Parking was free as it should be. Train front desk staff and the place would be worth a return. One of the five we dealt with was good but the other four need to go. Just be nice, its not that hard. It is very clear they hate their job and dont care about the guests."

"Stayed overnight before catching our flight for the local airport. Lovely spacious old hotel overlooking the river. Quiet rooms despite it being hall-term and children staying. Mircowave and fridge. Close to the main street and large food shop very close by. Pleasent bar decorated in keeping the rest of the hotel decor, with good atmosphere and wide menu."

"Quaint little motor inn. We were able to park right out front of our room. The Inn is Close to downtown and the River Walk that runs through Durango. we were Close enough to walk to many stores & local eateries. This place had a lodge-like atmosphere and very friendly staff. Felt very safe & was family friendly. Definitely would stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful room with plenty of space. The antique furniture added to the vintage hotel. I do wish the rooms had coffee makers. I do appreciate they serve coffee and tea in the morning in the lobby. I really enjoyed that our room had two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in a vanity area. Everything is walking distance in the downtown area. We would stay here again."
