I really liked the décor and location of this hotel, and the staff was incredibly friendly at check-in. Our room was spacious and, like the rest of the hotel, nicely decorated. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue. The baseboards were coated in dust and pet hair, and the entry closet had noticeable "tumbleweeds" of dust and debris in the corners. The bathroom was especially disappointing, with urine stains under the toilet lid caps and even on the wallpaper. We also chose not to use the pull-out couch after discovering hair on the mattress. To make matters worse, the bathtub wouldn't drain at all. I reported this to the front desk, and while they were apologetic and said maintenance would be sent, no one ever showed up before we checked out. This hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it fell short, especially considering the price we paid.

The room was clean, spacious and quiet. problems included a lack of instructions on whom to call or services provided by the hotel. The bath lacked grab bars in the shower, the towels are thin and scratchy.

Property is very convenient to town and campus. Room had some issues… the AC unit seemed to spritz mist or moisture into the room. Our sheets, bedding and pillows felt damp even under the covers. Friends staying in another room said the same thing describing it as “moist”. It was gross and uncomfortable. We had trouble controlling the temperature and needed to turn it off in order to stop the moisture. When we did that, it had a funky smell almost like stale urine. The units could use an update for sure.
