We absolutely loved the location of this VRBO. Close to lots of trailheads with terrific hiking and close to Canyon Road and historic Santa Fe. Patricia was a very responsive host, quick to show us how to use the grill and encouraging of our use of the front patio and back yard. What we didn't know from the listing was that her house was connected to the rental, that it shared a wall. So the owner, while never intrusive or overbearing, was nevertheless right there. It proved unfortunate our first night when we went to a friend's house and our dog decided to bark (first time, strange place) and bother the owner. There were also workers there nearly every day. And although they were lovely people, we felt a little cramped by the constant presence of noise and people. That said, it's a great place, extraordinarily well located and well appointed. And it has air conditioning! A great thing in this time of climate change. We would highly recommend this casita, keeping in mind that the kitchenette is literally that (fine with us!) and the owner lives next door.
