Old, dated hotel in good location

Rooms need updating, very old furniture and carpet. Couldn’t get cool air into room except by opening window which is security hazard on first floor. Staff were very pleasant and outdoor area is good even though not well maintained. Location is good.

Loved this place!! So quaint and cozy. Our room had a little fireplace and the decor was charming. We ate at Doc Martins for brunch and it was wonderful. Had nachos when we first arrived that were great. Live music every night in the lobby/bar area. We had so much fun!!!

Nice old inn, just as advertised. Don't expect modern or fancy, expect cozy and local New Mexican style. The lobby and the little common alcoves & balcony around it are lovely. There are outdoor areas to sit and enjoy. Plenty of parking. Short walk (5 min) to Taos Plaza. No breakfast included, but there are coffee tea, etc. in the lobby in the morning. The staff were VERY helpful when we encountered a logistics problem with our trip.

Lovely historic property in ideal Taos location. We would definitely go back. Only two nitpicks: No breakfast offered on weekdays, so we had to go elsewhere to start our day. And room TV was ridiculously tiny!

A Northern New Mexico Classic

A nice classic old hotel in the center of Taos, directly adjacent to Kit Carson Park. It was the perfect choice for the concert I went to on Saturday night.
