It was disappointing the tub was barely draining, no soap in dispenser. The chargers were broken found only one wall receptacle working it was on the far wall.

This reasonably priced hotel is in a good, quiet location, but housecleaning needs to do a better job on the soap scum buildup in the tub and sink. Also, the “black-out” curtains are totally insufficient. There was so much light coming in the room at night you could have done cross-stitch in bed. Good coffee shop in the lobby though.

So the first room they gave us hadn’t had the bathroom cleaned. The maintenance guy walked right in on us because he was in the process of fixing the drapes and didn’t realize the room would be rented. When I mentioned there didn’t seem to be towels, he did go get some. However, by the time he came back, I realized there were no towels because they were still in the bathtub and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. He just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said housekeeping was gone for the day. A couple of calls to the front desk and they eventually decided to get me a new room. The failing cleanliness grade is based on the new room. I get people make mistakes and get distracted, but the new room (while having clean towels, yay!) still was pretty dirty. I wish Expedia let me post pictures. Bottom line this is an old hotel (first room had crack in sink and hole in carpet, second room was much better) and terrible housekeeping (and I am really not that picky), I don’t think they had cleaned the vents or the tops of doors in years. I would find somewhere else to stay. Not worth the $$.

Great little lodge

Very clean, comfortable, convenient for us as our son was at a football camp at the high school right behind the hotel. A lot of construction workers staying at the hotel but they were very quiet. The Espresso Bar restaurant serves Peet’s coffee and breakfast. It was welcoming and the staff was very professional and kind.

Not impressed

The hotel room smelled like bleach and the AC unit was musty and super loud all night. The front desk person was accomodating giving us an air purifier but definitely not a great night's sleep. I never stay at places that do not have an hotels.com 8 star plus rating...not sure how this was rated that well. It was partially remodeled but AC units in rooms need to be cleaned or replaced.

Overall, I liked the stay. My only complaint is that they only gave shampoo and conditioner for one day and that doesn’t work with two women for two days. Same with washcloths.

Dirty Room

Room was dirty. Remotes to the tv had dust on them. Bed had crumbs on it. Restroom was dirty with hair along the rim of the bathtub. A small spider was on the other bed.
