Sweet, conveniently located hotel

Sweet hotel one block from the Marina. We stayed in 4 rooms for a family vacation with teens and senior citizens- and it was perfect for the entire family. Nice, clean rooms, lovely staff, great location. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly, they went beyond for us! They upgraded us when our room was booked incorrectly. They allowed us to check out later, if needed, and were just wonderful. I recommend staying here, if you have to do any activities at the pier or harbor. We were in a regatta, so it was super convenient.

A very comfortable and nice place to stay

My husband and I really like the Castillo Inn. It’s old but kept up very nice. The beds are very comfortable and bathroom is nice. The only thing I miss is a microwave. We have a small one that we bring. We’ve been staying there for probably 10 years at least. We have tried a few orhers but always come back.

A jeckle & Hyde experience. The bathroom was thoughtful, luxurious. The bed-living room not so. Poorly thought through; e.g., bedside table on only one side of bed; not closet, instead an amoire that was too short. The lobby was tiny.

Cabrillo Inn - always excellent service

Very close to the beach and Stern's Warf. Our room was like most basic king rooms in a small hotel. We had a fridge but no microwave, However, when i asked it the hotel had a microwave we could use our host, Kirsten, said yes and she would get it for us. She is a small lady so I offered to carry it. She handled it by herself. Just and example of the excellent service we always get here from the staff, and the reason we keep coming back. Jose, the manager, and Humberto are always very helpful and fun to talk to.

Castillo Inn at the Beach was perfect! Exactly the type of hotel/motel I love! One story, quiet courtyard, parking right close to your room. The patio was an added bonus. The front desk manager, Jose, was so welcoming! We loved our stay and would definitely return.

This place was a nice sunny one floor building across the street from the beach. within walking distance of many shopping and running options. 10 minute walk into downtown. Staff was friendly, and they made everything convenient even going as far as making recommending places to find in the area.

Really liked this little gem. Clean, neat, very appealing room in the best sense of “old school” comfort with a great little private patio out back to enjoy morning coffee in the sun or with an umbrella. Great location an easy walk to the waterfront/marina/wharf and also downtown at a rate that doesn’t break the bank. Nice, friendly staff too. I’ll be back.
