Disappointing ExperienceThe house was fine, but the experience with the host was incredibly disappointing. I originally booked for 9 guests. In the end, we were 9 adults and 3 children, not a wild party, just a respectful family group. The house had plenty of space, and we used it with care.Despite that, the host claimed we exceeded the guest limit and demanded an extra 300 in fees. I paid it just to avoid drama. Then, to my surprise, they filed a property damage claim with the insurance for the same 300. Even though there was absolutely no damage, and I have recorded a video for the house before leaving. Thankfully, the claim was denied.To be clear: we barely used the house. We didn’t touch the grill, kitchenware, or even the tea and coffee. We were out most of the day and only used the beds to sleep. We also left early, at 8:30 AM.I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and never had such an uncomfortable experience. If you care about fair treatment and transparency, I would not recommend staying here.

We had a family of eight stay at the property for our family event. It was perfect. Everyone got their own room (which was great for young adults). The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking utensils, etc. We had a great family barbeque one night on the beautiful patio. We are able to watch sports on Sunday morning and see who won the men’s Wimbledon championship. The entire experience was awesome.

Wonderful Family Home

We had a great stay at this house. It was very family oriented. The entire house was very well decorated and comfortable. The beds were all very comfortable. The back yard is very big with a large covered patio with ample seating for eating outdoors. The landscaping is very nice and made for some good family photos. The location is very close to the border, where you can easily see the border fence. We were thinking of crossing over to Tiajuana, which is why we chose this location, but we ended up changing our plans last minute. We don' t regret staying here at all. It worked out great for us. Getting to downtown San Diego was very easy.

Beautiful Abode

Amidst a quaint neighborhood, Carl and Dora’s property provided respite for our group. Conveniently located near common stores, like Costco, and Target, it was also close to the outlets for shopping, the Mexican border for out of country tourism, and is a quick 15-20 minute drive to San Diego for enjoyment of districts such as Old Town, Little Italy and the Gaslamp/Downtown area. Communication was very kind and prompt. Truly great hosts. 11/10 would recommend.

A fantastic and peaceful stay

This place was cozy and full of amenities, I didn't have my small children in site but it also included many amenities specifically for small children. A great place for a family vacation. It was beautiful and clean and the hosts are very kind and accommodating, I highly recommend this rental.
