This place is perfectly placed along the ocean, with many things to enjoy. The coffee shop is one of my favorites and the baked goods are amazing. The stay was great.

Great experience

Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. well stocked with all you’ll need. Pet-friendly room was great! Great grounds activities and hikes nearby. Lunch was good at the inn restaurant drinks and key lime pie was fantastic. 10/10 will stay again. Love that this inn is family owned, you can fill it in the care they take in their guest.

Large property with awesome views of the Pacific coast. Nearby Hearst Castle which is a must visit. Hwy closed off a little further north on Hwy 1 unfortunately.

The surroundings are beautiful and well tended. They are obviously in the middle of remodeling. Some units have been renewed, the older units need attention. Nothing major but necessary The staff was very solicitous. The food was excellent. We have hearty appetites and came away very satisfied every time.

The views from this resort are phenomenal! We had a balcony from our room with a jaw dropping ocean view. Our room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. The grounds of the property were beautiful with much opportunity to photograph nature. It also has conveniences of a restaurant, small store, gift shop, coffee & bakery, gas station, and walk up snack bar. Staff was very friendly as well. Another perk is a trail directly from the resort down to a black sand beach with a waterfall (although closed in February, probably due to rain & mud). We previously hiked this in the summer, so be aware it is very steep and not for beginners. We would definitely stay here again. Truly a gem!

Nice stay but no WiFi and avoid the restaurant

No internet except for in the lobby at 1 chair. Unacceptable in 2025. It would be impossible to stay connected to the office or with family at this property Had dinner at the property restaurant because the closest restaurant was 30 min away. We were told the bar/restaurant closed at 8 pm so put your drink order in now Rib eye steak skewers were tough and fatty and undercooked. Mushroom soup was tepid. Service not great inexperienced perhaps. Homemade bread excellent Morning baked goods at their bakery raspberry/cheese danish dry and definitely not worth the calories. When we checked in Chris was abrupt and somewhat rude explaining the lack of WiFi but quickly changed and became more pleasant. Rooms very comfortable and great view. Please change the chipped toilet seat in room 21
