Booked this hotel for the hot tub. We got a room with a pull out bed. This bed was the most disgusting bed I’ve ever seen in my life and it had no sheets or bedding on it. The stains were repulsive.

Stay somewhere else.

Some of the staff were incredibly rude and even threatened me, because I asked why my room had not been cleaned. the floors were filthy and had sand everywhere. The windowsills and the baseboards were disgusting. The upstairs outside hallway had children running and screaming constantly. It sounded like the building was collapsing. The beds are hard and worn out.

Great motel, okay service

The motel was very nice and close to Highway 1. The only complaint I had was that the man checking me in needed to swipe the card I used to prepay for the room. The problem is that I had forgotten the card at home. He seemed frustrated with me for not having the card but when I recited all the numbers for him, that worked. I suggest that the property figure out a workaround for this situation because I can’t be the first person to forget a card on a trip and having a check-in person get smart with me doesn’t help anything. Also, reciting one’s credit card information is not exactly secure. San Simeon is a great jumping off point for seeing seals, by the way. Just drive a few miles north.

The rooms are not clean. The floors are very dirty and covered with sand. The counters are all gritty and the window ledges and the floorboards are filthy. Kids running up and down the stairs and down the upstairs walkway yelling and screaming, It sounds like the whole building will collapse. Some of the staff were extremely rude and very confrontational and belligerent.
