We were so disappointed with the state of this hotel. The pictures online do not at all match what the rooms or the hotel look like. We stayed as a family of four, and our room was so small that we were tripping over our luggage. The room was dirty and in poor shape, as you can see in the photos. The pool was cloudy, green, and full of sand. The ice and vending machines were out of order and leaking water. Do not book a stay here unless it is your last resort. I don’t know where all the five star reviews are coming from, because this is not a nice hotel.

It's a nice cozy Inn a minute walking distance from the main beach and pier. There are many shopping options, dining and coffee. Great location, nice basic room, free parking on premises.

Location is spot on.

The overall stay was pretty good, and there was not much to complain about, with not very many extras provided. The room was a little better than average in cleanliness and actually had a pleasant smell and was quiet. The layout is pretty simple so don't expect a lot of bells and whistles but it was just enough room for myself, my wife, and a 6 year old sharing a king bed, and we had our small dog with us which was fine. The bed was decent but the pillows were a little flat, however I was promptly provided with two more pillow upon request and those two were nice n plump. The location is pretty darn good, and only two short blocks away from Pismo Beach Pier. I wasn't thrilled that the hotel didn't want people to leave dogs unattended, because as long as the dogs in a crate I can't see how much harm can be caused. The room doesn't have curtains so it wasn't possible to black out the room which was a bit unpleasant in the early morning. If you plan on hitting the beach with your pup, or just hanging around town chillin I'd say go ahead and give this hotel a try. The location is pretty spot on but the parking can get very cramped and was full pretty quickly. Just don't expect a lot of extras. Make sure to bring extra cold drinks and snacks as there isn't anything to buy at the hotel.
