I chose the "Family sized" suite and that is not what we got when we arrived. We almost had to leave but the clerk offered to bring us a roll away bed for our 5th person. That worked well. In the future, I'd caution anyone to call the desk ahead to make sure your size party can be accommodated.

The only thing I found that was a problem is the fact that the hotel doesn’t have carpeted floors. We were on the second floor and could hear every single movement the room above us made.

This was our first time staying here. The location was fantastic! We walked a mile to Ghirardelli and then continued on to Pier 39. There were lots of food options nearby and we felt safe walking around. The rooms are clean and basic.

The staff was friendly, but the room was very noisy and this made it hard to get a good night of sleep. The room was modern and updated, but they had stains on the walls and floors. Overall, it served its purpose, but not great.

This is an excellent choice that provides nice clean room in Pacific Heights. The only quibble - a quibble, not a complaint - was about patchy wifi. They have two different routers and we kept getting cutoff from time to time and we had to switch the router. I spoke with the manager about the problem and he said they are aware of it and would be upgrading. He said they made numerous upgrades in the last two years since buying the Inn and it showed.

The exterior is slightly dated but it was being painted while we were there. Our room was spacious and updated with hardwood floors and great lighting. It was very clean and kept stocked. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I love that parking is included. It is in a great location-within walking distance of Ghirardelli Square and many restaurants. I would recommend for a budget friendly option!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They let us leave our car in the parking lot and held our luggage before and after our room reservation. The location is pretty convenient since you about a 10-20 minute walk from the Marina or North Beach. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area.
