We stayed three nights at the Comfort Inn Old Town this week and this 👏 hotel 👏 RULES 👏👏👏!!! The second we met the concierge (bald gentleman with tattoos) we knew it was going to be awesome—he was so helpful and friendly! We switched towels after showering and got fresh ones right away. The parking was abundant and safe, we got the same nice spot all three nights and it was a BREEZE getting on I-5 to head out! Loved that the hotel is around the corner from Old Town—wound up spending our downtime walking there for the art and treats (food is kind of pricey so we drove to the several close by places for supper). The room was clean, breakfast was awesome (shout out to the sweet lady keeping everything stocked) and the breakfast enchilada (?) was gourmet and set the morning off for us!!!! The rooms were insanely comfortable and peaceful, we were in the room right next to the elevator which made me nervous and why?? You couldn’t hear ANYTHING in there!? The second you step outside it’s nonstop planes and cars (what’re you gonna do) but even with the cleaning carts rolling around we weren’t awaken once! Which leads me to my only complaint—these beds are DANGEROUSLY comfortable!!!! WOW! We spent the days at beaches, botanical gardens, the swap meet, and sampling all the awesome fish tacos around town…and yet….all I could think about was snuggling up in the spotless, perfect temperature, unbelievably perfect beds that are at the hotel. Don’t “sleep” on this hotel folks.

Room was dark and dim. Very little lighting inside the room. Definitely needs maintenance in the bathroom. Was given accessible room not requested. Didn't feel comfortable with drapes open on first floor with apt bldg next door and a window that opened.

Older hotel that shows her age with slow draining sinks for both our rooms, minuscule underground parking spots, older carpets and a tiny lobby. However, the property is maintained by a very friendly and helpful staff who are constantly cleaning. The beds are comfy and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast has waffles, bagels, English muffins, sausage, eggs, packaged muffins, cereals, yogurt, package oatmeal, fruit, tea, coffee & juices. Older temperamental toaster that should be retired. Breakfast will tie you over until lunchtime where you can walk to some amazing Mexican food & TJ type shopping

1. Location is very central and very close to the old historic town. 2. Room was clean and bed was not bad. 3. They could provide water but they will not, you have to buy bottles of water. In the mornings if you have empty bottles you can fill in the breakfast area. 4. Free breakfast. 5. Affordable room price 5. Friendly management and workers who clean rooms.

Comfortable

This hotel was better than I expected. The staff is amazingly friendly and there were good vibes from the other guests staying there as well. It’s pretty basic and no frills but a great price. You can walk to Old Town or take a quick Lyft to downtown. Note that there is a super low clearance on the parking structure… I think it was 6’6” My mid sized suv barely fit.
